Entry Requirements


There are no educational entry requirements for this qualification, however participants must:

  • be 20 years old or over   
  • competent in written and spoken English. All prospective students will undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) evaluation prior to commencing the training.
  • have 5 years civil construction industry experience including some form of team leadership/ leading hand experience and have access to a worksite.
  • be a Trainee and have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
  • be registered with an Apprenticeship Centre and have a training agreement with a registered employer from a relevant industry.

Ideally participants will have completed a civil construction qualification at Certificate III level before undertaking this program.

Duration


Our Certificate IV in Civil Construction (Supervision) is delivered and assessed through a series of sessions and evidence gathering over a 30-month period depending on your experience.

Delivery


Face-to-face sessions on-site or via a virtual classroom depending on your location and requirements.

Fees

Assessment Methods


The course is delivered with both theory and practical elements, with a mixture of on-the-job and off-the-job and individual research supported by your trainer and assessor.
